Bush Innovations for Robinhood Chain

Beyond the core pool mechanics described in How the Index Works, Bush is building a set of index-specific tooling purpose-built for tokenized-stock pools on Robinhood Chain. These are user-facing analytics and pricing tools, distinct from (but built on the same underlying approach as) Bush's on-chain BPT oracle contracts.

Liquidity Index Price

Every tokenized-stock Weighted Pool has a "fair value" that isn't necessarily the same as its raw internal spot price. A pool's spot price is only exactly correct at the moment arbitrage has fully closed the gap; between trades, it can drift from what the pool is actually worth.

The liquidity index price is computed independently of the pool's own balances: we take live Chainlink price feedsopen in new window for each of the underlying tokenized stocks in the pool, combine them with the pool's target weights, and derive what the index should be worth right now. This gives a manipulation-resistant, real-time reference price for the index as a whole, using the same "theoretical balance" approach as Bush's BPT oracle contracts, applied here for display and analytics rather than on-chain consumption.

BPT Price on the Frontend

The same Chainlink feeds are used to compute a live price for the BPT itself, the token you hold when you're an LP in one of these pools. Rather than deriving BPT price purely from pool balances (which can be skewed mid-trade or during periods of imbalance), the frontend shows a price built from external market data for the underlying tokenized stocks and the pool's total supply, so the number you see reflects real market conditions.

Charting the Index Value

With a reliable liquidity index price and BPT price available on an ongoing basis, we can record them over time and chart index value the way you'd chart a fund's NAV, showing LPs and prospective LPs how the index has performed, independent of any single trade or moment of pool imbalance.

A DexScreener-Style Charting Tool

On top of this, we're building a dedicated charting product, in the style of DexScreeneropen in new window, focused specifically on price movement of these index tokens. It'll show candles and price action for BPTs the same way traders are used to seeing it for any other token, making it easy to track and compare index tokens across pools.

How This Differs from the BPT Oracle Factories

Bush already has on-chain BPT oracle contracts and factories that let other protocols (lending markets, for example) permissionlessly deploy an oracle for a given pool and consume a manipulation-resistant BPT price on-chain, e.g. for using BPT as collateral.

The tooling on this page is a separate, user-facing track: a liquidity index price, BPT pricing, and charting built into Bush's own frontend for people trading and providing liquidity to these index pools. It uses the same core idea (Chainlink feeds plus a theoretical-balance calculation instead of trusting raw pool balances), but it's shipped as analytics and UI, not as an on-chain oracle other contracts integrate against.
